Flyweel Pty Ltd ("the Company," "we," "us," or "our") (Level 12, 60 Martin Place, Sydney NSW 2000, Australia) operates the Flyweel platform at flyweei.com - an AI-powered ad budget optimisation service that predicts return on ad spend (ROAS) across channels before performance marketers commit their budgets. We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles ("APPs") under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and applicable state privacy legislation. Contact: [email protected].

2. Personal Information We Collect

Because Flyweel connects to your advertising accounts to build ROAS forecast models, we process a specific set of information tied to that purpose:

  • Identity and contact information you provide when creating an account (name, work email address, company name);
  • Ad platform credentials and OAuth access tokens used to read your campaign and ROAS performance data from Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Pinterest Ads, Snapchat Ads, and connected commerce platforms such as Shopify and WooCommerce;
  • Advertising performance data ingested read-only from your connected channels - campaign names, channel spend figures, historical ROAS metrics, and budget allocation data used to build your channel-specific forecast model;
  • Communication content from emails or in-product messages you send to us;
  • Technical and usage information collected automatically, including IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and pages visited on flyweei.com;
  • Analytics information used to measure platform performance, collected with your awareness as described in our Cookie Policy.

We do not ingest raw end-customer data from your ad platforms. The advertising performance data we access is campaign-level metrics (spend, ROAS, impressions, conversions), not personally identifiable information belonging to your customers.

3. Purposes (APP 3, 6)

We collect and use personal information only for purposes reasonably necessary to deliver the Flyweel service, including:

  • Providing and operating the ROAS forecasting and budget reallocation platform - building channel-specific prediction models from your 90-day rolling ROAS history, generating pre-spend forecasts, and surfacing reallocation recommendations;
  • Sending early warning alerts via email and Slack when campaign performance is trending toward poor ROAS;
  • Responding to your inquiries, providing support, and managing your account;
  • Securing the Service and detecting fraudulent or unauthorised access;
  • Improving the platform's forecasting accuracy and feature set;
  • Complying with legal obligations.

We do not use your advertising performance data or campaign information to train general-purpose AI models, nor do we sell or share your data with third-party advertising networks.

4. Disclosure (APP 6, 8)

We disclose personal information to processors acting on our behalf - for example, cloud infrastructure providers that host the Flyweel platform and analytics tools that help us measure site usage. These providers act under contractual agreements that restrict their use of your data to the purposes we have specified.

Where personal information is disclosed overseas (for example, to cloud infrastructure services operating outside Australia), we take reasonable steps to ensure recipients comply with the APPs or are subject to substantially similar protections consistent with APP 8.

We do not sell personal information to third parties.

5. Your APP Rights

  • APP 12 - Right to access your personal information: you may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
  • APP 13 - Right to request correction: if your information is inaccurate or out of date, you may ask us to correct it;
  • Right to opt out of direct marketing (APP 7): you may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us directly;
  • Right to deal with us anonymously where lawful and practicable (APP 2): you may browse flyweei.com without identifying yourself, though full use of the Flyweel forecasting platform requires an account.

6. Complaints

If you believe the Company has not complied with the APPs in handling your personal information, please contact us first at [email protected] so we can attempt to resolve your concern. If the matter remains unresolved, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner ("OAIC") at oaic.gov.au.

7. Notifiable Data Breaches

If a data breach is likely to result in serious harm to you, we will notify you and the OAIC in accordance with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme under Part IIIC of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). We will act promptly to contain any breach and inform affected individuals of recommended steps to reduce potential harm.

9. Data Retention

We retain your account information and advertising performance data for as long as your Flyweel account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter to support any requests or disputes. OAuth access tokens are stored only as long as needed to maintain your connected channel integrations and are revocable at any time through your account settings or directly via your ad platform's connected-apps settings. When you delete your account, we remove your personal information and advertising data within 30 days, subject to any legal retention obligations.
